BLACKBERRY BOLD: PHOTO MANAGEMENT TIPS
BlackBerry’s and PDA’s are two things which are almost synonymous with each other. If you’re one of those guys who happen to own a free AT&T PDA phone, chances are you’re holding a BlackBerry cellphone. The Blackberry has long been known as a capable tool in business and communication. It wouldn’t be surprising to a see businessman carrying a conversation with his BlackBerry.
It seems like smartphones and PDA’s have moved from just wearing their business suits to wearing casual shirts during weekends. Armed with a variety of multimedia features, the line between business phones and multimedia phones seem to blur with each passing day.
Camera
Equipped with a 3.2 MP camera and auto focus features, the BlackBerry Bold would be a welcome addition to businessmen looking for a quick snap with their clients. Pictures and videos taken with the phone were great and showed a great amount of detail. The BlackBerry Bold’s auto focus and flash were an excellent addition to the cellphones camera.
There was no visible frames loss when the video recorder was put into its paces. Motion capture was decent and the only complaint was the relatively low resolution of 480 x 352 for videos. Picture quality showed a visible improvement over the BlackBerry Curve. The Bold produced crisper and brighter picture compared to its sibling whose pictures were a tad dismal and lacking in depth.
The geotag feature also enables users to add location details on shots taken. Making use of the phones GPS capability, users are now given the option of adding another dimension to image capture.
