Firefox on Android
If you’re not familiar with cell phones and using the internet then you probably didn’t understand the name of this article… and most likely you wouldn’t be reading a cell phone blog. Regardless, Mozilla released a Firefox browser for Android under the alias FENNEC. Of course there are still some bugs to be worked out as it is in the “pre-alpha build” status. Users can expect to encounter such things as the black screen of death that Mozilla has warned users about, slow loads, and lots of memory usage. Some great things about the browser is it’s ability to handle multiple tabs, tapping thumbnail takes you to that page quickly and great preference menus to the right of the browser. It’s overall a great App and we look forward to seeing what Mozilla can do with this as they continue to improve it.
