Free AT&T Phones Stay Connected For Cheap

Everyone is looking for cheaper services these days. Financial woes everywhere are causing people to examine their bills and determine ways to save a dime. With this focus on cost-cutting, it isn’t a surprise that we are examining our cell phone bills, too.

Today, cheap cell phone contracts don’t necessarily mean poor quality, lack of coverage, or impossibly low allowed minutes. In fact, most of the major carriers (and several smaller ones) are offering cell phone and data plans that are incredibly inexpensive, but don’t suffer from poor quality. Fortunately, it seems the carriers are competing with each other, and now is the time to take advantage of this competition for low prices.

We investigated the big carriers and the small, and we were able to find the following cheap plans:

AT&T: Offers low cost data plans. For 5 GB of data per month, the price ranges from $30 for unlimited personal use to $60 for unlimited use plus tethering for phones. Wireless data cards cost $60.
Verizon Wireless: For $24.99 to $44.99, 5 GB data plans are available for phones. Wireless modems cost as low as $59.99. Verizon also offers an inexpensive cell phone plan at $40 per month.
T-Mobile: The carrier offers unlimited data plans at great prices. The Sidekick costs only $29.99 per month. At the high end, an enterprise BlackBerry plan costs $89.99. The carrier’s EDGE network offers unlimited data cards for as low as $49.99 per month. T-Mobile’s cheapest cell phone plan is a whopping $30 per month. Not too shabby.
Sprint: Their Simply Everything plan offers a 5 GB wireless data plan for phones – only $99.00 per month. Two other Sprint plans also offer the 5 GB of data, ranging between $69.99 and $169.99. For $59.99, a wireless card (up to 5 GB) is available.
Boost Mobile: An incredibly cheap wireless plan – unlimited calls and text messages cost only $50 per month.
Virgin Mobile: The carrier is competing with Boost Mobile’s plan; they also offer a $50 per month unlimited calling plan. With text messaging, add another ten bucks for a $60 per month bill.
MetroPCS: Unlimited calls and texting costs $40-$50 per month.
TracFone: Offers the StraightTalk option – at the low price of $45 per month.

Options are available that will not destroy your budget. Even the smaller wireless carriers are competing fiercely, and offer wireless plans that everyone can afford. Stay connected for cheap. Keep using your cell phone while watching your pennies.
